Leaping far to the west in San Francisco is " The Marriage of the Artistic Expression of the North and of the South on this Continent" aka "Pan American Unity" at City College of SF, painted in 1940. This monumental piece, 22'x74', was created for the Golden Gate International Expo celebrating the unity of North and South on this North America Continent. Diego specifically wanted to show how interconnected the US and Mexico should be.
